KITCHEN CASE STUDY: REGAL KITCHENS – TRADITIONAL STYLE, MODERN FUNCTIONALITY
When Emma from Essex-based Regal Kitchens sent through pictures from one among their latest transformations, we knew we’d be a left a touch green with kitchen envy. Bright and spacious packed filled with storage, and with the right mixture of classic style with modern functionality, we’re so excited to share this latest kitchen case study with you.
TRADITIONAL STYLE, MODERN FUNCTIONALITY
The brief for this beautiful lebensraum was challenging yet straightforward; Regal Kitchens’ client wanted a traditional-style kitchen with all the functionality that a contemporary kitchen demands, from gadgets to ergonomics.
ELEGANT FINISH
To achieve the traditional-style, the client opted for Grey Mist painted timber furniture from Regal Kitchens’ stunning Italian collection. This provided a light-weight canvas for the team to figure from and, therefore, the perfect opportunity to introduce beautifully contrasting materials to the planning, like the black granite set against white quartz. The chosen colour and materials add ideal unity to make a bold yet elegant finish.
FINISHING TOUCHES
No part of kitchen design is safe from Regal Kitchens’ designers’ eagle eyes when it involves finishing touches. We all know that it are often the small thing that has the most important impact, and thacriticalsely the case with this lebensraum . Gorgeous Georgian bars on the glass doors create an additional layer of favour; the usual double butler sink standard the kitchens’ character. The cornice and pilaster add an air of history to the present new kitchen.
USE OF SPACE
Regal Kitchens’ client had the posh of a generous size room (25 sqm with a further 6sqm within the utility) for his or her new lebensraum but wanted to form sure that each inch of space was wont to its full potential.
Internal storage was critical to the present, and no cabinet was safe from the Regal team as they maximized each. The new kitchen includes large heavy-load pan drawer sets, internal drawers and timber cutlery drawers above two larders with internal drawers.
However, it’s perhaps the opening furniture at the side of the mantle over the range cooker that’s most impressive. These cabinets provide valuable storage that maximizes horizontal space and provides a gorgeous frame for the classic range cooker.
